Hi, I'm Hubris! I'm a 32 year-old bisexual trans woman (she/they). I fuck around with elderly technology and am working towards making a jank-ass analogue-based streaming setup.
My goal with the streaming setup is to have a fully analogue signal chain, right until the point at which it enters the computer through a capture device and goes out to twitch tough OBS (or even FFMPEG as OBS is just a front-end and compositor for FFMPEG). So far, I've collected a Peavey AAM 802 8-channel audio mixer, and a Videonics MX-1 video mixer (pictures available here), but have yet to purchase any cameras or monitors for my mixer, nor a capture device. I also want to get a DVD player for motion graphics.
I've got a MiSTer (actually a Mistix by Checkmate) that I need to debug for reasons; also I built myself an RC2014 but I have no idea what to do with it. I will eventually get some genuine retro hardware also have an Amiga 500 that I need to repair, upgrade, and integrate but that's where i'm at right now.
